The Baby Jogger Performance Single is designed for serious runners - the one-piece aluminum frame is a rare feature in the market today. This sturdy frame makes the Performance Single one of the most stable, solid, and straight-tracking jogging strollers out there. It's not hard to predict that this will become a huge hit among serious runners, who don't want to sacrifice a smooth, easy ride in exchange for a bunch of extra features they don't really need. That's not to imply that there aren't good features included, however - there are plenty, including shock absorbers, a multi-position sun canopy, a padded, reclining seat, and the roomy under-seat storage basket. The fold-down mechanism isn't as simple and easy as Baby Jogger's Q-Series Single, but this "flaw" is actually necessary, due to the Performance Series' signature one-piece frame.

For truly hardcore runners, the Performance Single is available in 20" wheels, which provide a smoother ride than the standard 16".
